This is Zarne he is 2 years old and from New Zealand. Zarne weighs 11.8 kg (25.9lbs) and is sitting in his Safe-n-Sound Meridian car seat which has a rear-facing weight limit of 12 kg (26lbs).

[Note: the straps you see in this photo are rear-facing tethers which are a feature on child restraints that conform to the Australian and New Zealand Safety Standard, it is not a seatbelt. Please note also that although it's best for children not to be so far slumped forward, however Zarnes mother was aware of this and the car was not moving when this photo was take. Additionally, she is also aware that the adjustable headrest is set to low. This picture was taken just before he was too big to rear-face in this seat.]
