Extended Rear-Facing

Emily has an older brother named Xander who is two years older then her and also rear-facing. Emily's Mummy says "I never realised how much safer rear-facing was until I read this website. I could never even imagine having her forward even though it's legally allowed for her seat." Emily is 8 months old, approximatley 9kg (20lbs) and is rear-facing in her Safe-n-Sound Guardian which has a rear-facing weight limit o 12kg (26lbs).

[Note: the straps you see in this photo are rear-facing tethers which are a feature on child restraints that conform to the Australian and New Zealand Safety Standard, it is not a seatbelt.]
