Extended Rear-facing Gallery

Aria is 1 year and 1 month old in this photo. She weighs 8.5kg (18.7lbs) and is 69cm (27.2 inches) tall. She is in a Safe n Sound Guardian with a rear facing limit of 12kg (26lbs). Aria is from New Zealand.

Aria's Mummy says "I never realised how important rear-facing was until I came onto this site and read up on it. When my older children were born (13 and nearly 15 now) their seats forward-faced as soon as they were out of their capsule [infant seats], I never saw a child rear-face in a big seat at all"

Aria is in a Safe-n-Sound Guardian which has a rear-facing weight limit of 12kg (26lbs).

[Note: the straps you see in this photo are rear-facing tethers which are a feature on child restraints that conform to the Australian and New Zealand Safety Standard, it is not a seatbelt.]
