No, could see that the seat bight wouldn't work.

It's the position of the rail that the seat slides along. The rail nearest to the door is very close to the part of the floor which slopes upwards vertically to meet the bottom of the doorframe and there wasn't room for the metal buckle to pass under. The buckle was to broad for the space between the side of the floor and the rail and so there wasn't room for it to be flattened and slid under the rail, or out from under.  Hard to describe - sorry!

Will try for a photo tomorrow.  Would be great if it could be installed as love the seat.

Thanks very much for your help.  Really appreciate it!

Which Baby On The Move franchisee did you go see?

Sorry!  Left that out...  Peugeot 407.  Will take a photo tomorrow and see about getting it to you - not very good at this stuff - do I email the photo to you?

Just looking at pictures of the 407 online and I can't fathom how the tethers would be a problem unless there's something I'm missing. Did they try to fit them around the seat bight?

Which is this:

When I went to check the Brio out the safe2go tech looked up the manual, and it doesn't list our model as being suitable.  Then we looked at why, and the strap can't fit under the seat runner next to the door cos it's too close to the side of the car, and the design of the seats means it can't be attached at the back of there either.

Okay, so Miss3 is too big for rf.  What about options for Miss8mths so she can rear face for as long as poss - assuming that they can be intalled in our car...

You'll find that although the list is helpful - it (like the seat) is for a European market so doesn't take in to account Australian, Japanese vehicles etc etc. So just because it's not on the list, doesn't mean it's not suitable Smiley (Just an FYI for anyone else who reads this).

I don't suppose you can take a picture of the back of your seats can you?

Otherwise, for your 8 month old there's probably only stuff like the Cosco Scenera, Safety1st All In One both of which just use the seatbelt. The First Years True Fit is supposed to be coming on to the market soon though I'm not sure when the ETA is (probably at least a few more months) or the RRP. And the above seats rear-face to 16kg. There is nothing for the 16-25kg child that can rear-face apart from the Zento.

What kind of vehicle do you have?

Hih Chaucey the Maxi Rider II is probably your best bet, it's taller and has higher shoulder slot height - so it's much better for longevity.

Hi Miffy

What car do you have - and why do you think it will not fit?

As for what other seats will fit a 15.5kg 96cm 3 year old. To be honest - probably none.

Hi Bonnie - after deciding on the Brio Zento for our 3yr old(15.5kgs and 96cms) (she's nearly too tall for her S&S Royale) and 8mth old, I've learned that it can't be fitted in the model of car that we have.  Are there any other rf seats that will fit Miss3?  Thanks very much!

I'm just generally confused by car seats!  But I'm hoping for some help.

My son is 19 months old.  He is currently forward facing in a mothers choice convertible car seat.  However, he seems to be getting too tall for it.  He is around 85cm tall and around 12 and a half kg.  I've done a search online and it seems to be a problem with the Mothers choice seats that they are a bit short.

I want to buy a new seat for him.  I was thinking about the Safe and Sound Royale.  But then I saw some info on the Maxi-rider, he'd be able to use the maxi-rider as a booster when the time comes, and be harnessed before.  Does the maxirider tether?
I know I'm not interested in the popular Brio Zento as the installation looks far too difficult  Embarrassed.

I'd appreciate any help on this decision.  Also, what is the best price around on the Maxi-rider?
